What opportunities would help young people build practical skills, explore careers, and take an active role in our local food system?

The Great Falls Food Hub is gathering community input to better understand which food-related programs, resources, and experiences are currently available to youth—and what may be missing.

Your Input Will Help Us

Your responses will help identify opportunities to connect young people with:

  • Cooking and food preparation skills

  • Gardening, farming, and food production

  • Farmers’ markets and locally grown food

  • Food preservation and processing

  • Entrepreneurship and career exploration

  • Mentorship, internships, and hands-on learning

  • Community food access and food systems projects

The survey will also help us better understand the barriers that may prevent youth from participating, including transportation, cost, scheduling, awareness, and access to programs.

From Community Input to Action

This survey is part of a broader effort to inventory youth food systems resources, identify gaps, reduce duplication, and strengthen collaboration across the Greater Falls region.

The information gathered will help guide future partnerships, programs, funding requests, and hands-on opportunities designed with—and for—local youth.
